Back in the bubble

Back at university for another year, and it's already like I've never been away. My bed hasn't been made, I still have all my clothes (sans one pair of pyjamas!) strewn across the floor because half my furniture blocks off my desk, but the computer and printer are all set up and I've already had one desperate fresher without an ID come print off a set of forms. At this rate, I'm going to have to start charging - they always say it's a good idea to make friends with cups of tea, but round here it looks like having the keys to the kitchen cupboard and access to a scanner/printer are the way to go.
The dissertation is progressing (slowly), and I'm gearing up for the first exam on Friday. I won't be called until 5pm thanks to the joys of alphabetisation so I'll have plenty of time to stress about that on the day. For now, just trying to get my referencing sorted (apparently the style I have been using for the past 3 years is not the examination standard for dissertations so that's a bit of a mess), type up a conclusion and sort out my timetable.
I wasn't planning on coming back to university, this year or at all. Strange - now I've been here for a night, accidentally falling asleep in my computer chair only to be woken up by the end of a pub crawl, it seems like the only place I'd want to be right now. :)
